Over the objections of several defense counsel, on October 15, 2008, Judge Timothy Ryan entered an order extending and expanding the receivership to include the assets of Lucy Vilan, Jeffrey Leiter, and Francisco Moreno. See the order.

The Court also rejected defense counsel's objections to the Receiver providing information to the State and set an evidentiary hearing for November 5, 2008, at 10:30 A.M. to consider whether to hold Lucy Vilan in contempt of court for failing to turn over to the Receiver receivership assets, including but not limited to a house in Juarez Mexico and a pair of expensive diamond earrings.
